Background on CJEU "Schrems II" Case: The Court of Justice of the European Union ('CJEU') will issue its judgment tomorrow in Data Protection Commissioner v Facebook Ireland Limited, Maximillian Schrems (Case C-311/1) (also commonly known as 'Schrems II').  The judgment is set to represent a further significant milestone in the tortured recent history of EU-US transfers of personal data.
